The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe for you the types of information we collect from you and how we store and use that information. By viewing and using the Sites, you are, to the extent permitted by applicable law, accepting this Privacy Policy with respect to information collected by the Sites.

Aimshala collects and stores in our database certain personal information provided when you request information from us, communicate with us, or sign up for information provided by third parties, including our affiliate sister companies.

If you are under the age of 18, you have certain additional rights with respect to the removal of Content which you may provide to the Sites. These rights are set forth in Section 14 below.

Categories of Personal Information We Collect
There are three categories of personal information we collect from you and that we have collected in the last twenty-four months:
Personal Information You Provide Us: this is information that is identifiable to you, as an individual, which you may provide to the Sites if you register on the Sites and engage in any Site activities. It may include:

Identifiers, such as name, number of children in household, age of children, housing type, transportation, hobbies, and employment), contact details (e.g., phone number, email address, postal address), and account details (e.g., username and password);
Financial or health insurance information such as household income before taxes;
Credit card or debit card information;
Psychometric and career interest information;
Educational and career history (including e.g., location of jobs, job types and salary information);
Demographics, including some protected classification characteristics under California or federal law, such as age, gender, marital status, ethnicity, and primary language.

Information we collect about your use of the sites: this is information commonly collected by many websites to track website usage. It may include:

Identifiers, such as computer, server, and client IP addresses and usernames;
Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browser versions, pages most visited, duration and time of visit, as well as standard fields from our web log reporting software;

Information from Third Parties: We may also collect Personal Information about you from third parties to perform certain functions such as collections activities or to customize our marketing efforts.

The information we collect depends upon how you interact with us. To be clear, and without limiting any other provision in this Privacy Policy, by providing any personal information to Aimshala through the Sites or otherwise, to the extent permitted by applicable law, you are consenting to the collection, storing, processing and transfer of such information in and to the India and other countries and territories, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and India law. In certain jurisdictions, our legal basis for processing your personal information is not consent, but our legitimate interests in providing services to you.

3. Personal Information in Publically Accessible Areas

Some interactive portions of our Sites are open and visible to the larger public and/or people and entities engaged in providing or supporting Aimshala products and services. If you include personally identifying information in materials you contribute to the Sites, via postings, chat rooms, or otherwise, that personal information will be available to members of the larger public. We therefore strongly encourage you not to include personally identifying information in your interactions in public forums made available through the Sites, such as in postings or in chat rooms, or in your Username.

4. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to us. For example, when you register as a User on the Sites in order to participate in the Sites activities, we ask you for personal information such as your name, email address, and telephone number. We may also collect this information if you contact us requesting information, participate in or provide feedback on the Sites or Site activities, or forward information from the Sites to internet addresses outside of the Sites.

5. How We Collect and Use Information About Your Use of the Sites

We use common tracking tools such as cookies, clear GIFs (also referred to as web beacons or pixel tags), device identifiers or IP addresses to collect information about your use of the Sites. We also use third-party analytics services, including Google Analytics, to analyze traffic and optimize performance; these services may also place cookies on your device. These tools, described in more detail below, are associated with standard internet protocols and are commonly implemented on web sites. The information collected through these tools is primarily used for aggregate, statistical reporting and stored in log files. Log files are simply transaction records that web servers maintain and record information, such as: service provider IP addresses, browser versions, referring websites, search terms used, average number of pages requested, average duration of visit, and/or total visitor traffic.

Cookies are small files web sites place on your hard drive that allow sites to identify you. For example, if you allow a site to remember your login name or password, the site places a cookie on your computer. Cookies cannot read any other information on your hard drive. If you do not wish to receive cookies or want to be notified of when they are placed, your browser may permit you to do so.

GIFs can tell us whether you have visited a Web page or received or opened a message we send to you.

An IP address is a number that's automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider whenever you're on the Internet. In addition to logging your IP Address, our server may also record the referring page that linked you to us (e.g., another web site or a search engine); the pages you visit and how long you stay on the Sites; and other Web usage activity and data. In some cases, your IP address stays the same from browser session to browser session; but if you use a consumer internet access provider, your IP address probably varies from session to session.

The information we collect about your use of the Sites may be used to measure the Sites’ traffic, help us to evaluate and improve the Sites, provide data points for marketing and business analysis, and better serve our Users. It is in our legitimate interests to evaluate and improve the Sites so that we may better serve our Users. We may share this information with third parties, but only in an aggregate statistical form that includes no personally identifying information. If we combine information about your use of the Sites with Personal Information, through data mapping or otherwise, the combined information will be treated as Personal Information.

6. How We Collect and Use Personal Financial Information

We collect Personal Financial Information you provide only when you are purchasing products or services from Aimshala, or involved in other financial transactions with Aimshala, and we use this information only in connection with your purchases and other financial transactions. We collect this information so we can comply with our contractual obligations to you or interact with you in furtherance of initiating a contractual arrangement (e.g., if you are applying to enroll) and so that we can comply with our legal obligations. Personal Financial Information is retained by Aimshala as required by law and its internal business practices. If you have no outstanding, pending, or contractual financial obligation to Aimshala, you may ask that we delete your financial information and we will do so subject to legal, regulatory, licensing and accreditation obligations.

7. How We Use Personal Information

We use your Personal Information in multiple ways, including to:

Fulfill or meet the reason for which the information is provided (e.g., to provide career guidance).
Deliver products and perform services you purchase. This is so we can comply with our contractual obligations to you or engage in pre-contractual measures (e.g., if you apply to enroll in one of our programs or our partners’ programs).
Respond to your requests for information. It is in our legitimate interests to respond to your requests for information.
Contact you regarding products and services in which we believe you may be interested. It is in our legitimate interest to provide relevant and interesting advertising messages. Where necessary, we will obtain your consent before sending such marketing messages.
Notify you about community events and activities. It is in our legitimate interests to notify you about events and activities that may be of interest to you.
Ask you questions about your interests and your experience on the Sites. It is in our legitimate interests to learn more about your experience with the Sites.
To perform proactive outreach to encourage and engage you in your studies and career development.
To offer savings opportunities and/or promotional items only available to Aimshala customers.

8. When We Share Personal Information with Third Parties Who May Offer Products or Services that May be of Value to You

We may provide your Personal Information to third parties who offer products or services we believe may be of value to you; such third parties are only allowed to use your Personal Information to contact you regarding those products or services and you are able to “opt out” from receiving such contacts at any time through the “opt out” procedures of those third parties. (See also Section 18 (“Rights to Opt Out”) below).

9. When We Share Personal Information with Partners in Education and Employment Who May Also offer Services

Aimshala often collaborates with school districts, individual schools, colleges and universities, vocational schools, organizations like the Job Corps, job search and recruiting services, career development services, and other private educational, education-related, or employment related programs (each an “Educational or Employment Partner”) to provide a broad range of educational or career-related programs responsive to different types of students’ and job seekers’ requirements. We may share Personal Information, including Personally Identifying Information and Personal Financial Information of students, job seekers, and other Aimshala users that we believe may be interested in these collaborative or partnership educational or employment programs or when they are enrolled in these programs, with the associated Educational or Employment Partner.

10. When We Share Personal Information with Contractors, Service Providers and Others

We may use third parties (including contractors, business partners and service providers) to help us with certain aspects of our operations and this may require disclosure of your Personal Information to them. For example, we use third party financial institutions to help us process payments and we may use third party agencies to help us with debt collection. We may also use third parties to help us to operate the Sites, deliver products and provide services. We expect these third parties to use your Personal Information only as necessary to perform the services they are asked to perform.

11. Disclosures of Personal Information in Litigation, Investigations or Enforcement Actions or for Security Reasons

We may disclose your Personal Information when compelled or requested to do so by government or law enforcement authorities or when otherwise required or permitted by law, such as to respond to court orders and subpoenas or regulatory agency requests. We also may disclose Personal Information when we have reason to believe that someone is causing or threatening to cause injury to, or interfering or threatening to interfere with, the rights or property interests of Aimshala or its affiliates (or their respective employees, agents, consultants, contractors or representatives), Aimshala Site Users, Aimshala business partners (including Education Partners and service providers), or other persons or entities that could be harmed by such activities.

12. Disclosures to Affiliated Companies and to Companies in Conjunction with a Change in Control or Similar Event

Aimshala may share your Personal Information among its subsidiaries and affiliates, primarily for business and operational purposes. In addition, if Aimshala undergoes or contemplates undergoing a business transition, such as a merger or acquisition by another company, or a sale of all or a substantial portion of its assets, your Personal Information may be shared or among the assets transferred or subject to new ownership. Changes in the terms governing the collection, storage or use of any third party successor in interest or transferee of your Personal Information, if any, will be communicated to you by Aimshala or such third party via email, the applicable website, or a comparable means notification.

13. Your Access Rights

You may review and correct the Personally Identifying Information that is retained by Aimshala in your account after you login. You may review and correct the Personal Financial Information that is retained by Aimshala in your account by contacting Aimshala at contact@aimshala.com.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Sites do not knowingly collect information from (a) children under the age of 13 and does not offer products, services or activities targeted at children under the age of 13, or (b) individuals older than 13 but under the age of legal majority in their state of residence whose registration or participation on the Sites has not been authorized by their parent or legal guardian.

15. Special Rule for Site Users under 18

If you are under the age of 18, you may at any time request Aimshala to remove from the Sites any Content (as defined in the Site Terms of Use) you provide to or post on the Sites by sending your request to contact@aimshala.com. However, please understand that Aimshala’s removal of such Content may not be complete or comprehensive. Removal of Content may be limited to making Content no longer visible to the public or other Site Users. In addition, Aimshala reserves the right not to remove Content you have provided if Aimshala is required to maintain the Content pursuant to legal requirements, if the Content has been independently provided to the Site by a third party, if the Content is anonymized, or if you have been compensated for providing the Content to the Sites. Any Personal Information retained by Aimshala will continue to be governed by the terms of this Privacy Policy.

16. Third Party "Linked-To" Web Sites

The Sites may contain links to third party web sites which are neither operated nor controlled by Aimshala. This Privacy Policy does not address the information practices of those third-party web sites, and we encourage you to read the legal notices posted on such websites, including their Terms of Use and Privacy Policies. To be clear, Aimshala has no responsibility or liability for your experience with, and the data collection and use practices of, such third-party websites. All inquiries concerning the terms and policies of third-party websites should be addressed to the third party hosting the respective website.

17. Information Security and Storage

The protection of your Personal Information is very important to us. To that end, we take reasonable steps to protect the Personal Information you share with us from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, you should know that no security measures are impenetrable and no company, including Aimshala, can fully eliminate security risks to its telecommunications and computer systems. In addition, due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications vehicle, we cannot guarantee that information, during transmission through the Internet, will not be destroyed, hacked, hijacked, misdirected, stolen, modified or otherwise interfered with or misused. Accordingly, your transmission of information to or through the Sites is at your own risk.

We retain your Personal Information, including your Personally Identifying Information and Personal Financial Information for as long as we have a relationship with you. When deciding how long to keep this information after our relationship with you has ended, we take into account our legal obligations. We also retain records to investigate or defend against potential legal claims. If there is any information that we are unable to delete entirely from our systems for technical reasons, we will put in place appropriate measures to prevent any further processing or use of the data.

18. Rights to “Opt Out”

If you are receiving emails, texts or similar online communications from Aimshala, it is because you consented or we understood from your participation on our Sites that you were interested in receiving ongoing information from us. If at any point you no longer wish to receive marketing communications, you may at any time “unsubscribe” from these communications by following the ‘opt out’ directions to be found at or near the end of the communication. We may still send transactional, non-marketing communications. If you have any questions about the opt-out process, you can contact us at contact@aimshala.com. Please note that if we have already shared your personal contact information with one of our business partners, unsubscribing from our communications list will not prevent these third parties from continuing to email or text you. You will have to send an opt-out request to those third parties directly. Opportunities to “opt out” from receiving emails and texts are usually found on these companies’ websites or at the end of their emails or texts.

19. California Residents

Under applicable local law, California residents may have certain additional rights regarding the Personal Information we hold about them. These rights may include disclosure of the categories, specific pieces, and sources of Personal Information we collect, the purposes for which we disclose that information, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose that information (see generally descriptions in sections 1-6 above). California residents may also request that we delete their personal information or not disclose their information to our partners, such as advertising partners, or other third parties as described in sections 7 and 8 above who use the information for their own purposes. Some of those arrangements may be deemed sales under the California Consumer Privacy Act, which has a broad definition of sale, and California residents can opt-out of those disclosures. We do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors under 16 years of age without affirmative authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We have shared all of the categories of personal information we collect (as described in section 1) for business purposes with service providers in the last 12 months. We also have shared identifiers, educational history, career history and demographic information with third parties in the preceding 12 months, including with school districts, individual schools, colleges and universities, vocational schools, organizations like the Job Corps, job search and recruiting services, career development services, and employment services.

20. EU Residents

Under applicable local law, EU residents may have certain rights regarding the Personal Information we hold about them. These may include the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of, or receive a portable copy in a usable electronic format of your Personal Information. You also may have a right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection or privacy regulator. We encourage you to contact us at the contact information set forth below to update or correct your information if it changes or if the Personal Information, we hold about you is inaccurate. Where you have provided your consent to any use of your Personal Information, and where applicable under local law, you can withdraw this consent at any time. Please note that we may require additional information from you in order to honor your requests.

21. International Data Transfer

Your Personal Information and Personal Financial Information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country (such as the United States) that is not regarded as ensuring an adequate level of protection for personal data under your home country’s law, be it Canada, in the European Union, or elsewhere. We have put in place appropriate safeguards (such as contractual commitments) in accordance with applicable legal requirements to ensure that your information is adequately protected. 22. Construction of Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy supersedes any other representations, agreements, statements or understandings with respect to the terms pursuant to which Aimshala collects, stores and uses information relating to you which is collected by the Sites. This Privacy Policy may not be modified, extended, limited, waived or terminated except with the written consent of Aimshala. If any portion of this Privacy Policy is deemed void or unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from the Privacy Policy and the remaining terms shall remain in full force and effect. The word “including” shall be construed to mean “including but not limited to”.

23. Modification to Privacy Policy

As noted above, Aimshala reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time and will notify Users by posting the modified version of its Privacy Policy on this webpage. Under certain circumstances, we may also elect to notify registered Users of changes or updates to this Privacy Policy by additional means, such as posting a notice on the front page of the Sites or by sending you an e-mail but you should not rely on receiving such additional notice.

1. Introduction

The Aimshala website located at www.aimshala.com is a copyrighted work belonging to Alpheric Consultants Private Limited . Certain features of the Site may be subject to additional guidelines, terms, or rules, which will be posted on the Site in connection with such features.

All such additional terms, guidelines, and rules are incorporated by reference into these Terms.

These Terms of Use described the legally binding terms and conditions that oversee your use of the Site. BY LOGGING INTO THE SITE, YOU ARE BEING COMPLIANT THAT THESE TERMS and you represent that you have the authority and capacity to enter into these Terms. YOU SHOULD BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO ACCESS THE SITE. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ALL OF THE PROVISION OF THESE TERMS, DO NOT LOG INTO AND/OR USE THE SITE.

Excluding any User Content that you may provide, you are aware that all the intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, in the Site and its content are owned by Company or Company's suppliers. User Content

User Content. "User Content" means any and all information and content that a user submits to the Site. You are exclusively responsible for your User Content. You hereby grant to Company an irreversible, nonexclusive, royalty-free and fully paid, worldwide license to reproduce, distribute, publicly display and perform, prepare derivative works of, incorporate into other works, and otherwise use and exploit your User Content, and to grant sublicenses of the foregoing rights, solely for the purposes of including your User Content in the Site. You hereby irreversibly waive any claims and assertions of moral rights or attribution with respect to your User Content.

Acceptable Use Policy.

The following terms constitute our "Acceptable Use Policy": You agree not to use the Site to collect, upload, transmit, display, or distribute any User Content

(i) that violates any third-party right or any intellectual property or proprietary right;

We reserve the right to review any User Content, and to investigate and/or take appropriate action against you in our sole discretion if you violate the Acceptable Use Policy or any other provision of these Terms or otherwise create liability for us or any other person. Such action may include removing or modifying your User Content, terminating your Account in accordance with Section 8, and/or reporting you to law enforcement authorities.

If you provide Company with any feedback or suggestions regarding the Site, you hereby assign to Company all rights in such Feedback and agree that Company shall have the right to use and fully exploit such Feedback and related information in any manner it believes appropriate. Company will treat any Feedback you provide to Company as non-confidential and non-proprietary.

You agree to indemnify and hold Company and its officers, employees, and agents harmless, including costs and attorneys' fees, from any claim or demand made by any third-party due to or arising out of

(a) your use of the Site,

(b) your violation of these Terms,

(d) your User Content. Company reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of these claims. You agree not to settle any matter without the prior written consent of Company. Company will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any such claim, action or proceeding upon becoming aware of it.

Third-Party Links & Ads; Other Users

Third-Party Links & Ads. The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services, and/or display advertisements for third-parties. Such Third-Party Links & Ads are not under the control of Company, and Company is not responsible for any Third-Party Links & Ads. Company provides access to these Third-Party Links & Ads only as a convenience to you, and does not review, approve, monitor, endorse, warrant, or make any representations with respect to Third-Party Links & Ads. You use all Third-Party Links & Ads at your own risk, and should apply a suitable level of caution and discretion in doing so. Other Users. Each Site user is solely responsible for any and all of its own User Content. Because we do not control User Content, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any User Content, whether provided by you or by others. You agree that Company will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred as the result of any such interactions. If there is a dispute between you and any Site user, we are under no obligation to become involved.

You hereby release and forever discharge the Company and our officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from, and hereby waive and relinquish, each and every past, present and future dispute, claim, controversy, demand, right, obligation, liability, action and cause of action of every kind and nature, that has arisen or arises directly or indirectly out of, or that relates directly or indirectly to, the Site. If you are a California resident, you hereby waive California civil code section 1542 in connection with the foregoing, which states: "a general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him or her must have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor."

Cookies and Web Beacons. Like any other website, Aimshala uses ‘cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

Disclaimers

The site is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis, and company and our suppliers expressly disclaim any and all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including all warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, or non-infringement. We and our suppliers make not guarantee that the site will meet your requirements, will be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free basis, or will be accurate, reliable, free of viruses or other harmful code, complete, legal, or safe. Limitation on Liability

If AAA is not available to arbitrate, the parties shall agree to select an alternative ADR Provider. The rules of the ADR Provider shall govern all aspects of the arbitration except to the extent such rules are in conflict with the Terms. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single, neutral arbitrator. For claims or disputes where the total amount of the award sought is Ten Thousand U.S. Dollars (US $10,000.00) or more, the right to a hearing will be determined by the Arbitration Rules. Any hearing will be held in a location within 100 miles of your residence, unless you reside outside of the United States, and unless the parties agree otherwise. If you reside outside of the U.S., the arbitrator shall give the parties reasonable notice of the date, time and place of any oral hearings. Any judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. If the arbitrator grants you an award that is greater than the last settlement offer that the Company made to you prior to the initiation of arbitration, the Company will pay you the greater of the award or $2,500.00. Additional Rules for Non-Appearance Based Arbitration. If non-appearance based arbitration is elected, the arbitration shall be conducted by telephone, online and/or based solely on written submissions; the specific manner shall be chosen by the party initiating the arbitration. The arbitration shall not involve any personal appearance by the parties or witnesses unless otherwise agreed by the parties.

Arbitration procedures are typically more limited, more efficient and less expensive than rules applicable in a court and are subject to very limited review by a court. All claims and disputes within the scope of this arbitration agreement must be arbitrated or litigated on an individual basis and not on a class basis, and claims of more than one customer or user cannot be arbitrated or litigated jointly or consolidated with those of any other customer or user.

Confidentiality. All aspects of the arbitration proceeding shall be strictly confidential. The parties agree to maintain confidentiality unless otherwise required by law. This paragraph shall not prevent a party from submitting to a court of law any information necessary to enforce this Agreement, to enforce an arbitration award, or to seek injunctive or equitable relief.

Severability. If any part or parts of this Arbitration Agreement are found under the law to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such specific part or parts shall be of no force and effect and shall be severed and the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.

Right to Waive. Any or all of the rights and limitations set forth in this Arbitration Agreement may be waived by the party against whom the claim is asserted. Such waiver shall not waive or affect any other portion of this Arbitration Agreement.

Survival of Agreement. This Arbitration Agreement will survive the termination of your relationship with Company.

Small Claims Court. Nonetheless the foregoing, either you or the Company may bring an individual action in small claims court.

Emergency Equitable Relief. Anyhow the foregoing, either party may seek emergency equitable relief before a state or federal court in order to maintain the status quo pending arbitration. A request for interim measures shall not be deemed a waiver of any other rights or obligations under this Arbitration Agreement.

Claims Not Subject to Arbitration. Notwithstanding the foregoing, claims of defamation, violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and infringement or misappropriation of the other party's patent, copyright, trademark or trade secrets shall not be subject to this Arbitration Agreement.

In any circumstances where the foregoing Arbitration Agreement permits the parties to litigate in court, the parties hereby agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within in County, California, for such purposes.

The Site may be subject to U.S. export control laws and may be subject to export or import regulations in other countries. 1. Aimshala’s responsible disclosure policy

At Aimshala, we take the security of our systems seriously, and it is our constant endeavour to make our website a safe place for our customers to browse. However, in the rare case when some security researcher or member of the general public identifies a vulnerability in our systems and responsibly shares the details of it with us, we appreciate their contribution, work closely with them to address such issues with urgency, and if they want, publicly acknowledge their contribution.

2. How to report an issue?

If you happen to have identified a vulnerability on any of our web properties, we request you to follow the steps outlined below:

Please contact us immediately by sending an email to security@aimshala.com with the necessary details to recreate the vulnerability scenario. This may include screenshots, videos or simple text instructions.
If possible, share with us your contact details (email, phone number), so that our security team can reach out to you if further inputs are needed to identify or close the problem.
If you intend to make the information public for educational or other such needs, please give us reasonable time to appropriately fix the problem before making such information public. Our security team will work with you to estimate and commit to such time frame.
If the identified vulnerability can be used to potentially extract information of our customers or systems, or impair our systems’ ability to function normally, then please refrain from actually exploiting such a vulnerability. This is absolutely necessary for us to consider your disclosure a responsible one. While we appreciate the inputs of Whitehat hackers, we may take legal recourse if the identified vulnerabilities are exploited for unlawful gains or getting access to restricted customer or system information or impairing our systems.

We do not have a bounty/cash reward program for such disclosures, but we express our gratitude for your contribution in different ways. For genuine ethical disclosures, we would be glad to publicly acknowledge your contribution in this section on our website. Of course, this will be done if you want a public acknowledgement.

1. Guidelines and Policies

If there’s one thing we truly love, it’s sharing in all the great moments you have.

While we welcome your opinions and descriptions of your experiences, there are a few things we expect from every user on Aimshala. Your reviews and photos, as well as your profile and the comments you share, are all subject to Content Guidelines, our Code of Conduct.

If your activity on Aimshala doesn’t match up to these content guidelines, we reserve the right to take action as we deem necessary. This could include altering or deleting your reviews or comments, restricting your review activity or deleting your Aimshala account altogether, with or without notice. Aimshala also utilizes an algorithm to aid in removing suspicious reviews. If you feel your review was deleted in error, email us at help@aimshala.com

If you see content that does not align with these guidelines or our Terms of Service, please let us know. We will consider all reports. However, due to the diversity of our community, it is possible that content disagreeable to you might not meet the criteria to be removed.

2. Code of Conduct

Keep out the clutter: To make sure we collectively work towards building the highest-quality content that’s useful to everyone, reviews need to be a minimum of 80 characters long for business reviews.. That’s just about the length of a tweet, so it’s convenient even for all you micro-bloggers. If you cover the quality, service and ambience, you shouldn’t fall short on characters. We do not have 140 characters limit for an online order review. However, if any review is filled with junk, we might have to remove the review altogether.
Keep it relevant: Please keep your contributions relevant to Aimshala. Accounts placing irrelevant, inappropriate, or promotional content, reviews with similar digital signatures that spam business/listing, or are based on any already disclaimed or informed policies and practices of a business/listing may be deleted without notice. If your review has been removed or moderated by us and if you repost another experience for the same business, we reserve the right to remove that review too, even though such review might be in line with our content guidelines. In the case of spam, we can restrict your review activity on Aimshala.
Keep it clean: Whether you’re writing a small snippet or a delightfully detailed account of your experience, keep foul/abusive/hateful language, threats, and lewdness out of it. We, just like you, hate junk and will delete it whenever we see it. This also includes (but is not limited to) derogatory comments on someone’s protected characteristics (e.g. race, gender, religion) or indication of a personal vendetta against a business and its associates.
Keep it fresh: Only one review per business for an experience and one review for each online transaction can be submitted and your most recent experience at a place counts. That’s what is going to help people when they’re trying to decide whether or not to visit there. You’re free to edit and update your review based on subsequent visits at any time. Reviews about old experiences (more than 6 months old) may also be deleted from our platform.
Keep it real: Write your review based on facts and your own experiences (e.g. not a friend’s or any hearsay experience or based on media reports). Please don’t exaggerate or falsify your experience. We do not take sides in cases of dispute, so make sure you can stand by your word. Content that indicates the reviewer hasn’t even visited or availed any services from the business will be removed. For example, “Never been here, never want to. Management is horrible and the product/service is worse!” Deceptive, fake, or misleading reviews will be removed. Accepting or soliciting a kickback – monetary or otherwise – in exchange for reviews or photographs is also not acceptable, and could result in the removal of your profile.
Don’t solicit: Identifying or promoting yourself as an official Aimshala blogger, or using your status to solicit any kind of benefits (including but not limited to accepting money, free product(s), service(s)) in exchange for promotion, or at the threat of negative reviews on Aimshala, will not be tolerated. If reports or evidence of such instances are brought to our attention, we reserve the right to delete your Aimshala profile or take any other action that we may deem fit, no questions asked. Acts that constitute as ‘Solicitation’ include:
- Explicit/Implied agreement (written or verbal) to write reviews in exchange for money, a free product(s), service(s), etc.
- Being a part of social media groups (e.g. WhatsApp/Facebook or any other social media platform) which offer incentives in exchange of reviews.
Don’t steal: Plagiarism is something we take seriously. Copying others’ reviews or photos from Aimshala or other platforms,, or even re-posting your own in multiple places on Aimshala (in full or in part), is something that will not be tolerated and may be removed/ moderated.. We trust that you’ll play fair and create your own content.
Tell the whole story: If you luck into a free product or service as a guest of the business, or have a relevant association with a business or its owners, give full disclosure in your review. We’re sure that honesty is the best policy, and other users will respect you even more for it. If you have made it to the major league as a writer or critic, let us know and we can provide special access for your blog link to appear with your reviews. We love summaries, but incomplete reviews with a manually added link will be removed.
Be yourself: Your profile is your identity on Aimshala, so keep it real. You’re welcome to use a screen name (iamjamesbond, maybe?), but please refrain from using inappropriate names, bios, or profile images. We want to stay clean, and we might end up removing your account depending on how inappropriate your profile is.
Don’t misrepresent: Identifying or promoting yourself as an official Aimshala blogger, or using your status to solicit benefits in exchange for promotion or at the threat of negative reviews on Aimshala will not be tolerated. If reports or evidence of such instances are brought to our attention, we reserve the right to delete your Aimshala profile, no questions asked.
Don’t be a bully: We take allegations of blackmail or threatening behaviour against business and its associates very seriously. This activity is strictly against our guidelines and may also be illegal in many locations. Reviews submitted in an attempt to blackmail a business and its associates will be deleted.
Play by the rules: The content you add should be in compliance with Aimshala’s Terms and Conditions, including terms and conditions of any of Aimshala products such as Explore, Prepare, Mentorship, Contribute, Engage, Near You as well as the prevailing local laws and regulations. Local laws take precedence, and content may be moderated or deleted to adhere to these.
Seek help from the right people: Aimshala is a website and mobile application with no claims to be a court of law or a ministry (we aren’t serious enough to do those jobs). If you have a dispute with a business, or if you feel a business does not measure up to business ethics, we encourage you to contact the appropriate authorities directly. Aimshala is not the appropriate platform for reporting illegal activities, physical confrontations, business ethics violations, or anything under investigation by local governing bodies or law-enforcement personnel. We encourage that such accusations be reported to the concerned authorities rather than being mentioned in reviews.

3. Photo guidelines

It’s important to keep in mind our photo guidelines and understand why some photos may be moved or removed once they’ve been added.

Violation of the below-mentioned pointers may lead to deduction of HD points, reduced visibility or deletion of your pictures

Photos that are exact duplicates of other photos, multiple clicks of the same product or ambience or taken from different angles
Plagiarized photos
Photos of others posted without their permission
Photos that contain promotional content
Photos that contain subject such as people in it
Photos that are blurry or unclear
Photos that contain text, or are not related to business
Photos containing watermarks or write-ups of any kind
Unpleasant photos that ruin people’s appetites

4. Guidelines for Businesses

Aimshala is a great way for business to reach out to a vast online community. A few things you should keep in mind:

Keep your business listing updated: While our team makes every effort to keep information on Aimshala up-to-date, we appreciate you letting us know when an update is required. If your timings change and your listing is not updated, customers arriving late won’t be too happy with you (or Aimshala).
Don’t solicit reviews: The best way to get reviews is to delight customers with your product and service. Selective solicitation is a strict NO, and offering any type of compensation or kick-back for reviews is unfair, so you definitely want to keep away from that, too.
- Don’t ever offer freebies, discounts, or payment in exchange for reviews
- Don’t offer incentives for users to remove reviews
- Don’t ask your staff to compete with each other to collect reviews
- Don’t work with companies or third-party vendors/PR agencies offering to ‘fix your reviews/ratings’
- While conducting community meetups is allowed, reviews which come in lieu of these official gatherings must carry a clear disclaimer which will help the others identify that the review is based on an invite. That being said, an invite certainly does not mean that the user needs to post a positive review
- The businesses that do best on Aimshala are the ones that provide a great customer experience to everyone who walks in the door without any expectation or encouragement that they write a positive review
- If we do come across any evidence (direct/indirect) of you indulging in the solicitation, we will activate a disclaimer on your business’s page, informing the Aimshala community that your reviews are suspicious.
Respond to criticism positively: Take two deep breaths when you get a negative review. Three, if required. This happens to all businesses who have customers. These customers are always right, even when they are wrong. Take the unflattering reviews as constructive feedback and use it as an opportunity to fix things. Whether you agree with the feedback or not, take the criticism in good stride. You can reply with a management response to show you care, but please don’t use this as a platform to hit back or offer the customer an incentive to edit their review. Your response can’t be edited after posting, so choose your words well.
Be accountable: Aimshala will not moderate any questionable activities about your business posted in reviews. (e.g. serving shisha where it is not permitted, serving alcohol to minors, or staying open later than permitted). Aimshala may also not moderate or delete any reviews where any third party service provider is involved. Such a review may be retained if it falls within our guidelines. This business requires thick skin – stating the perceived attitude of owners or employees and reporting of individual actions are not considered personal attacks.
Don’t entertain: Fulfilling the demands of customers who ask for benefits at the threat of bad reviews or ratings, sends a message that this behaviour is tolerated. Similarly, inviting users who have reviewed and given a low rating back to the restaurant for a complimentary meal, invites false negative reviews. These issues affect the entire community and require everyone’s participation to curb their prevalence. Please report users who engage in such activities to help@aimshala.com
In a concerted effort to maintain the neutrality of content on Aimshala, business owners, employees, and any affiliates with business interests are no longer permitted to write reviews on a business. We understand that being in the business, you are truly passionate about products, services and would love to share your experiences. But when you’re unavoidably invested in your business, it becomes hard to leave emotions (and bias) at the door. This is a step towards maintaining neutrality – and quality – of the content on Aimshala.

It’s also important to note that we (Aimshala) have no employees or affiliates who are paid to review. If any guest identifies themselves as an official blogger, review employee, or associate of Aimshala, it’s not true. Employees of Aimshala are contractually and ethically forbidden from using their status to solicit free meals or receive special treatment. If you observe any such practice, report it to help@aimshala.com. Appropriate action will be taken against the user or employee if evidence can be provided.

5. Aimshala Employee Code of Ethics

Employees of Aimshala are expected to adhere to and uphold the highest standard of ethics and integrity. This includes acting in accordance with our core values and the below-listed policies at all times.

Aimshala employees are prohibited from using their employee status to solicit discounts, freebies, or special treatment at business. Unless visiting a business for official work, Aimshala employees are to refrain from identifying themselves as employees of Aimshala.

All Aimshala employees in client-facing roles including but not limited to Sales, Sales Support, Neutrality, Media Content and Client Servicing across all transaction/ business/function at Aimshala are prohibited from writing reviews and/or giving ratings for experiences on Aimshala from either their personal or Aimshala accounts. They are also not permitted to influence others to write biased reviews or give ratings.

Aimshala’s review and photo moderators are required to always act in favour of keeping Aimshala a neutral platform. They are required to use their best judgement in implementing moderation guidelines and are prohibited from giving preferential treatment to business. Deleting any authentic review from a business page is in violation of our policies. Similarly, keeping reviews, which are proven to be unauthentic, is in violation of our policies.
